Tagore College of Education was founded by generous and noble hearted philanthropists of the Southern Educational And Rural Development Society (SEARDS) in the year 2005-2006 with a strong intention of promoting rich education in the tender minds of the eastern direction on the Cuddalore main road.

Tagore College of Education founded at Deviyakurichi has grown as a mini Shanthiniketan. The Philanthropists of this institution will endeavour to spread the spitit of Tagores rich ideals through the tender ones brought under their guidance.
