Our School emblem indicates that the massive education should mould the children with the base of the three words:

The world today is torn by factions of caste, creed and colour in the midst of such factions there is also a universal urge for world untity. Blessed souls like Buddha, Mahavir, Christ, Mohammad and Vivekananda preached the gospel of Love, Peace, and unity in the past. In recent time Mahatma Gandhi administered us the cult of Ahimsa. Poet Laureate Tagore also sang in similar terms. His Shantiniketan bears testimony to what he has sung and taught.

The world today does need the message of love. Peace and untity imbibed in the young minds and they will bear rich fruits. It is in this context that institution like Tagore’s Shantiniketan becomes more relevant, with this humble belief.

“TAGORE MATRICULATION HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL” has been founded in Deviyakurichi and it has grown as a mini Shantiniketan. The philanthropists of this institution will endeavour to spread the spirit of Tagore’s rich ideals through the tender ones brought under their guidance.
